Fox Glacier

On the west coast of New Zealand’s South Island, you’ll find Fox Glacier, showcasing 13 kilometers of beauty fed by four alpine glaciers. Here, you can heli-hike, ice-climb, or participate in any other icy activity. This natural wonder got its name from Sir William Fox, a Prime Minister of New Zealand who visited the Westland Tai Poutini National Park (where the glacier is found) in 1872. From the towering Southern Alps to the dense rainforest, Fox Glacier is sure to give you unforgettable memories.
